ALEX'S REFLECTION
The Student Activist Movement is significant because it shows how determined college students were to change the world for the better during the 1960s. Following the Civil Rights Movements and the Vietnam War, the student activists felt inspired to take a stand against social, economic, and political injustices. They successfully expressed their progressive ideas to the college population and opened the eyes of many Americans. I respect this movement's intentions and the efforts of the people who supported it.
CONNOR'S REFLECTION
I feel that the Student Activism Movement was a very powerful movement. Considering most of the voices that were looking to be heard were young college kids, there were plenty of students willing to protest and push the movement furthur. However, I think they could have used a little bit more organization but there college kids there not the most organized people. Overall, I think the Movement was very effective.
